Technology has come a long way. When I first started at the library there was no internet access. We had computers with the library catalog. Now not only do librarians have internet access but so goes the general public.

The trading cards was really neat. I can make pictures of my grandchildren in their teeball outfits and send to the fam. Photo Fortune was a lot of fun. Ag's blog has it and like getting you're fortune without eating the cookie. Trip planner is useful for people that travel. It remindered to calling AAA and ordering a trip tic.

mashups

Smilebox was one of way favs. Fun to create slideshows with music and motion-great for vacations pics and grandkids. Montager excellant to search for pictures. It gives you many pics to choose from. Great for patrons looking for pictures for assignments

about flickr

I found flickr hard to use. To me it wasn't user friendly. But you have to remember that I have afraid to touch something because I might do something I don't know how to fix. I guess you could say I'm not a risk taker.
